Studying how people learn means working with people, often young ones. We hold ourselves to a few firm commitments.
- We seek informed consent, and we explain our work in plain language.
- We collect as little personal information as we can, and we favor tools that keep student data on local devices rather than sending it away.
- We take particular care with minors and with communities that research has too often overlooked.
- We report our results plainly and in full, including the ones that surprise us.
