Sapphire Core Institute is a Texas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing cognitive and educational research, and developing AI systems that broaden access to learning in underserved communities.
Why we exist
Learning should reach further than it does.
Access to good learning is still uneven, and too often it comes down to where a person happens to grow up. We want to help change that.
We’re a small, independent organization. We study how people learn and build tools that make learning more accessible, and we share what we find so others can build on it.

Sapphire Core Institute is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit, guided by a Board of Directors that stewards our mission, finances, and ethics.
As a registered 501(c)(3), we follow the financial reporting and governance practices required of public charities.
Looking ahead

We’re in an early, foundational stage: setting up the organization, building our first tools, and forming the partnerships our work depends on.
Over time, we aim to broaden access to learning more widely and to share useful research with the field.
